Autumn/Winter is normally the season for muted, subtle palettes but the colourful coat is clearly going to be a statement piece this year.
Men's fashion week was up to the neck in these bad boys (badum-tss).
Bigger is better.
The embroidered duffel bags have now been added to the collection, each one features an embroidered route marking the journey of the traveller who inspired the design!
We are pleased to finally announce the arrival of Travail en Famille printed duffel bags! The process of developing these bags from beginning to end has been a truly epic journey. This is where we started last January:
And this is where we are now:
It wasn't easy! Numerous fabrics had to be tried and tested before we discovered the beautiful polyester canvas that you can see here. The fabric has a light grain that adds texture whilst also printing absolutely fantastically. Not to mention it's really tough, perfect for a bag. Getting the details right was also really important, from the internal printed pockets to the 11-month metal tag saga (don't ask!) we've worked really hard to develop what we think is a super special item.
We've made the duffel bags as large as possible whilst still keeping them practical for everyday use. They can comfortably fit laptops and are a fitting size for a weekend away!
These bags are statement pieces with fantastic stories behind them, as such we don't think many of them should exist, every design has been produced in highly limited quantities. We think this makes them that little bit more special and personal.
We're pleased to announce the final addition to our now rather extensive range of scarves: long silk scarves. These scarves are very easy to wear and can be thrown on at a moment's notice. Despite popular belief silk is actually one of the warmest fabrics, put one of these bad boys around your neck and you won't be feeling the autumnal chill.
After months and months of chopping, changing, refining and editing the final bag samples are beginning to arrive at the Travail en Famille studio and we're feeling pretty pleased with them (and ourselves).
The bags follow the same theme of great travellers and explorers as the scarves, and we're introducing some great new designs. The bags come in two silhouettes: a traditional duffel bag and a special Travail en Famille silhouette called the cloche bag (to be revealed soon...)
The bags are both capacious and built to last, perfect for a weekend away or just for carrying your laptop around.
