Bellis perennis

04 October 2020

This print is a celebration of Bellis perennis – the humble daisy which decorates lawns with a constellation of small white flowers. It's low rosette of leaves makes it well adapted to surviving beneath lawnmowers, they are also edible when young. Close cut grass is one of the least biodiverse environments on earth, so any plant capable of infiltrating its banal greenery is good in our books.
